茂原に残る戦時中の面影！

　掩体壕（えんたいごう）です

　戦時中飛行機を空襲から

　守るために作られた物です。

私の自宅の近くにありながら、今日初めて見てきました。

昔、祖父から「茂原にも滑走路があり、戦闘機が離着陸していた」と聞かされた事を

ふと思い出しました。

下の地図は昔と今の茂原です。

確かに飛行場があったのだなと感心しました。

この図は、1996年3月31日　茂原市教育委員会発行

地図を見比べると、地図の中央付近ですが、昔は飛行場で今は工場になっています。

掩体壕（えんたいごう）も茂原には数か所あるみたいです。

This would be a better cost effective way to protect the class room then each kid having the blanket. Not saying that the blanket wasn’t a good idea, but if a kid panics and can’t get it on or the child is too big for the protection, it could cost a life or two. With this sleeve, it will protect the whole room and take only seconds to block the door.
